Parent/Teacher Organization

Mission Statement
The mission of Horizon Parent Teacher Organization is to do our part in working together as a cohesive team of teachers, students and parents, under the umbrella of God's love and wisdom.

Goals

1. To help students and teachers enjoy the educational process.
2. To help in achieving a successful end-result of raising God-centered, loving educated people

Objectives

1. To support students by:
   • Prayer support
   • Being actively involved in their school life, working together with teachers and students to achieve an optimal learning experience
2. To support teachers by:
   • Prayer support
   • Classroom assistance activities
   • Staff appreciation activities
3. To support parents by:
   • Prayer support
   • Keeping parents informed through written and verbal communication
   • Facilitate and support a room parent
   • Coordinate a "welcome wagon" volunteer to make sure all parents of new students are welcomed into the Horizon family
