Our school is located in Hood River, in the middle of Oregon's beautiful Columbia River Gorge. Horizon is just minutes away from Mt. Hood where opportunities for skiing, river rafting, mountain climbing, and hiking abound. Oregon's largest city, Portland, is one hour away and the Pacific Ocean coast is a 2-hour drive.

Horizon Christian School does not currently offer ESL classes for international students. We believe immersion into U.S. culture through our classes and home stay program is important for language acquisition and understanding. The international students at Horizon are placed with qualified host families who can provide additional support and care in your inter-cultural journey at Horizon Christian School. All international students are expected to carry a full course load and perform at the comparable grade level of an American student fulfilling all academic requirements.

Once we receive all requested information, we will schedule an interview (most likely by phone); and, upon successful completion of the admissions interview, issue the required SEVIS form I-20.
